Biblical Hebrew 1A

September 2026

  •  10-week module

  • September 14th - November 20th

  • Cost: $250

  • This course provides

    • A strong foundation as the first of ten modules in Grace Education's multi-year Biblical Hebrew sequence.

    • Understanding of the Alef-Bet and vowel-pointings

    • Ability to clearly read, write, and pronounce any word in the Hebrew Old Testament

    • Memorization of a Hebrew Bible verse

    • Fluency with approx. 50 vocabulary words

Multi-Year Course Options

  • Develop a Deep Love for Biblical Hebrew

  • The entire sequence of courses is designed to equip students with solid Biblical Hebrew competency before college.

  • Students will interact with the biblical text from day one and will be able to read the entire book of Jonah in Hebrew by the final year.

  • The general course sequence overview is as follows:

    • Year 1 – Biblical Hebrew 1A & 1B – Language Basics

    • Year 2 – Biblical Hebrew 2A & 2B – Nouns & Adjectives

    • Year 3 – Biblical Hebrew 3A & 3B – Verbal Grammar 1

    • Year 4 – Biblical Hebrew 4A & 3B – Verbal Grammar 2

    • Year 5 – Biblical Hebrew 5A & 5B – The Book of Jonah
